This memorial project was commissioned by a client who wanted a meaningful portrait featuring herself and her grandfather. She requested several symbolic elements to honor his life and their connection, and each detail was thoughtfully integrated into the final painting. The finished piece became so meaningful to her that she later commissioned a second artwork, this time including additional loved ones standing beside him.
